Where It All Began
When I look back over the years, one thing has always remained the same: I've genuinely enjoyed helping people. Whether it was family, friends or someone I'd only just met, I've always believed that taking the time to listen can make a real difference.
Long before Aloe Vera became part of my life, I valued honest advice, building relationships and treating people the way I'd want to be treated. Those values have stayed with me throughout my journey and continue to shape how I work with every customer today.
"Looking back, I think I've always been drawn to helping people."
A Plant I've Known Since Childhood

Some of my earliest memories of Aloe Vera go right back to my childhood. My godmother always had an Aloe Vera plant growing in her greenhouse and, whenever one of us had a cut or a minor burn, she'd simply break off one of the leaves and use the fresh gel inside.
At the time, I never thought much about it. To me, it was simply something she always had growing. Looking back now, I realise those little moments sparked a curiosity that stayed with me for years.
As I grew older, I became fascinated by the history of Aloe Vera too. I remember reading that Cleopatra was believed to have used it as part of her beauty routine, and I loved the thought that this remarkable plant had been valued for thousands of years.
"My Aloe Vera journey began long before I realised it."
The Phone Call That Changed Everything!
Although Aloe Vera had always fascinated me, I wasn't looking for a new business or a major change in my life. In fact, I discovered Forever Living completely by chance.
At the time, I'd already tried different health supplements and, like many people, I had a kitchen cupboard with half-used products that never became part of my daily routine. So, when I first heard about Forever Living, I was naturally sceptical. The only reason I decided to give the Aloe Vera Gel a try was because of the company's 60-day money-back guarantee.
I felt I had nothing to lose. Looking back now, I'm so glad I made that decision. What I thought would simply be another product turned out to be the beginning of a journey that has shaped the last eleven years of my life.

Sometimes the smallest decisions turn out to be the ones that change your life."
It's Always Been About People
When people ask me what I enjoy most about Anita Aloe Wellness, my answer is always the same, it's the people.
Looking after others has always been part of who I am. Growing up on our family farm in Kilfeacle, County Tipperary there was always someone or something that needed a helping hand. During lambing season there was often an orphaned or weak lamb that needed extra care, and I loved helping to look after them.
At harvest time neighbours came together to help each other bring in the crops, and if someone needed a hand, you simply gave it. People called to each other's homes for a chat, shared vegetables from their gardens and looked out for one another. Looking back now, I realise those early years taught me some of life's most important lessons.
Kindness, community and helping others weren't things we talked about, they were simply part of everyday life. Without realising it, those values shaped the way I still work today.
Long before websites and online shopping became so common, I spent much of my time calling to people's homes. We'd sit around the kitchen table with a cup of tea and simply chat. Before I ever recommended a product, I'd often ask if I could have a look in the kitchen cupboard. People sometimes laughed when I did that, but there was a reason behind it. I wanted to see what vitamins, supplements or health products they were already using. Quite often I found cupboards full of products that had been bought with the best intentions but never really used, or several products doing much the same thing. Rather than adding another bottle to the shelf, I wanted to understand the whole picture first. That experience taught me something I've never forgotten.
Before you can help someone, you first have to understand them.

My beliefs became even stronger when I trained as a Life Coach. One of the greatest lessons I learned was that listening isn't just about hearing what someone says. It's also about understanding what they may not be saying. Sometimes the question a person asks isn't the real reason they've come to you, and taking the time to listen properly often makes all the difference.
Over time I've been fortunate to help people from every walk of life. Some simply wanted information, others were looking for reassurance, and many had tried all sorts of different products before they ever spoke to me. Every conversation reinforced the same belief, there is no one-size-fits-all answer because every person, every lifestyle and every journey is different.
One of the greatest joys of this business has been seeing relationships grow over time. Customers come back, not because I pressure them to buy, but because they know I'll always take the time to answer their questions honestly. Many recommend me to their family and friends, some ask me to create gift boxes for birthdays and Christmas, and over the years many customers have become genuine friends. To me, those friendships mean far more than any sale ever could.
I often smile when I think back to my first encounter with Forever Living. I walked away because I thought someone was trying to sell me a business when all I wanted was a product to try for myself. Perhaps that's why I understand so well how new customers feel today.
Nobody likes to feel pressured, and nobody wants to feel they're being sold to.
That's why I have always believed that people should be given honest information, time to ask questions and the space to make their own decision.
The website may have changed how people first discover Anita Aloe Wellness, but it hasn't changed the way I work. Whether someone contacts me with a simple question, asks for advice or becomes a customer, my approach is exactly the same as it has always been. I listen first, I take time to understand what they're hoping to achieve, and I help them make an informed decision without pressure.
One of my favourite sayings is: "Nothing is impossible. It's all possible." I genuinely believe that.
I also believe that people buy from people they trust. If someone leaves our conversation feeling listened to, respected and better informed than when they arrived, then I know I've done my job, whether they ever buy a product from me or not.
"Kindness, community and helping others weren't things we talked about, they were simply part of everyday life."
What Eleven Years Has Taught Me
Over the past eleven years, I've had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life. Some contact me because they're curious about Aloe Vera, while others have been recommended by a friend or family member. Every conversation is different, and that's exactly how I believe it should be.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that people buy from people they trust. That trust isn't built by trying to convince someone or by making promises. It's built by listening carefully, answering questions honestly and giving people the time and space to decide what's right for them.
I've never measured success by the number of products I've sold. Instead, I think about the relationships I've built over the years. Some customers have been with me for many years, some have become friends, and one of the greatest compliments I can receive is when someone recommends me to their family or friends. That tells me they trust not only the products, but also the advice and support I've given them.

"The greatest lesson I've learned is that people don't need pressure. They need someone who genuinely listens."
Why I've Stayed with Forever Living
When I first tried the products, I had no idea that more than eleven years later I'd still be recommending them to people across Ireland.
The reason I've stayed isn't because someone asked me to or because I felt tied to a company. It's because, over the years, my confidence in the products has continued to grow. The more I learned about how Forever grows, harvests and processes its Aloe Vera, the more comfortable I became recommending it to others.
I've also seen how seriously Forever Living takes quality. From growing its own Aloe Vera to careful processing and independent testing, I've always felt that the company puts quality before shortcuts. That gives me confidence, and I think it's one of the reasons so many of my customers come back time and time again.
Of course, no product is right for everyone, and I've never believed in telling people otherwise. My role isn't to persuade someone to buy something. It's to help them understand their options, answer their questions honestly and let them decide what's right for them.
"I'd rather someone walked away with good advice than bought something that wasn't right for them."
That's exactly how I worked when I started, and it's exactly how I still work today.

"I've stayed with Forever Living because, year after year, it has continued to earn my trust."
How I Help People

If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that no two people are the same. Everyone has their own reasons for exploring Aloe Vera, their own questions and their own goals. That's why I've never believed in a one-size-fits-all approach.
When someone gets in touch with me, my first job isn't to recommend a product. It's to listen. I want to understand what they're looking for, answer any questions they have and help them feel confident in whatever decision they make.
Sometimes that means recommending a product. Other times it means suggesting a different option, and sometimes it simply means giving someone the information they need, with no expectation that they'll buy anything at all.
I've always believed that honest advice builds lasting relationships, and that's why so many of my customers return to me years later or recommend me to their family and friends.
"I believe the best advice starts with listening, not selling."
A Little More About Me
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and making the most of life's simple pleasures. I believe good health is about balance, taking time for yourself and appreciating the people around you.
One of the things I love most about what I do is the friendships that have grown over the years. Many of my customers have been with me for a long time, and it's been a privilege to support them on their own journeys. Watching families return, hearing their stories and knowing they've trusted me enough to recommend me to someone they care about means more to me than any sale ever could.
I still enjoy learning about Aloe Vera, keeping up with new research and sharing what I discover through my website and conversations with customers. I don't pretend to know everything, but I do believe there's always something new to learn, and that's part of what makes this journey so rewarding.

"For me, helping people has never been just about Aloe Vera. It's about building genuine relationships."
